Celebrity Buzz Rapper and 1017 Brick Squad member Slim Dunkin, a.k.a. Mario Hamilton, was pronounced dead on Friday, Atlanta police reported. The rapper, who was on set of a music video, was shot and killed after an argument broke out shortly after his arrival.

A government official has confirmed that Al-Qaida number two leader, Atiyah Abd al-Rahman, has been killed in Pakistan. The source, who currently remains anonymous, says al-Rahman was killed in the region of Waziristan on August 22, the same day of a U.S. drone attack that killed four suspected militants. Video: San Francisco Police Shoot And Kill A Reportedly Unarmed Man
Extremely disturbing video of a 19-year-old man dying on the street after being shot by the San Francisco Police Department. The incident stemmed from a routine fare inspection on a San Francisco bus. The man fled and police pursued. Officers at the scene insist he was armed and fired on them, but a gun was never found. Multiple eyewitnesses say the young man was never armed and had his hands up at the time he was shot. Woman Killed By Subway After Falling On Tracks, Overcome By Heat
Culture Buzz A young woman, apparently fainting from yesterday's stifling heat, passed out at a New York City subway station and fell on the tracks. She was killed instantly by the oncoming train. The woman has since been identified as 21-year-old Fatoumata Binta Amina Diallo, a native of Ghana who was studying in Manhattan to become a doctor. Eyewitnesses say she briefly came to on the tracks and desperately tried to crawl to safety. Onlookers were horrified as she was cut in half by the train.

They appear to have been participating in anti-government protests that have engulfed the Middle Eastern nation in the past few days. The Mubarak regime has imposed an internet and text messaging blackout in Egypt, presumably to stymie further organizing and prevent images such as these from sparking a Tunisia-style overthrow.
