Culture Buzz A delightfully nerdy series of cross stitch patterns from the Etsy shop of Wee Little Stitches. It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia is the best.
The classic game reimagined as a John Hughes movie. The 8-bit version of New Order's “Bizarre Love Triangle” at the end is pretty epic.
Inspired by Weird Science, artist Dave Perillo created this awesome painting for the upcoming John Hughes tribute show. You can check out all of the other great pieces here.
Culture Buzz Artist Maxim Dalton made a fully playable board game version of “Ferris Bueller's Day Off.” It's part of a tribute show dedicated to John Hughes. Not quite as fun is Hungry Hungry Uncle Bucks.
I know it's been a few weeks, but a) I didn't really get to participate in the JH mourning and b) this video is entirely of boobs. We wouldn't be BuzzFeed if we didn't post this.

After writing a fan latter to the late John Hughes, Alison Byrne Fields asked to be his pen pal and they wrote letters back and forth for over 2 years. They spoke about life, teenagehood and she even critiqued his films, to which he wrote, “I listen. Not to Hollywood. I listen to you. I make these movies for you. Really. No lie. There's a difference I think you understand.”
Movie Buzz The reclusive ’80s auteur hasn’t directed since 1991. With John Hughes’ name popping up lately in association with Drillbit Taylor (it seems he cowrote the film under the psuedonym Edmond Dantes), we’ve been asking ourselves why this guy pulled a J.D. Salinger and quit while he was ahead. In retrospect even his relative failures, like Curly Sue and She’s Having a Baby seem pretty good.
