POLITICS BUZZ: Remember Joe “the Plumber” Wurzelbacher? Unfortunately, so do the good folks at Christianity Today , who decided to let him announce that he would never let “queers” near his children. Furthermore, he claims to have gay friends who, despite his opinions, are going to “do their thing.” Wurzelbacher, however, declined to specify whether “their thing” included “eating children.”

POLITICS BUZZ: Joe Wurzelbacher had some nasty things to say about John McCain on radio host Glenn Beck's show today. Joe, who apparently still exists, claims that he was appalled by some of the things that McCain said and that the experience of campaigning with McCain made him feel “dirty.” The only reason he stuck around was that he hated Barack Obama even more.

Rumor has it that Joe the Plumber hooked up with “the skinny brunette…Kirsten, maybe?” from SNL after Saturday’s show. If the source can’t actually identify the cast member, you have to wonder how reliable he is, but the rumor alone puts Joe’s street cred through the roof.

POLITICS BUZZ: Meet Tito Munoz, a business owner from Prince William County, Virginia who has started appearing with Sarah Palin as “Tito the Builder.” Tito wears a bright yellow construction hat and is angry with the media for its treatment of Joe the Plumber. But he’s not angry at the McCain campaign for exploiting an endless parade of men with blue-collar jobs. That would be silly.
