Government officials have started handing out iodine pills to combat the radiation. Around 3am local time, officials began testing residents living near the Fukushima nuclear plant for radiation poisoning. At least 3 of the 90 randomly selected people tested positive. Residents are being told to stay inside, not drink tap water and keep wet cloths over their faces as radiation levels were still well above safe limits. View Image ›
