In what world did this book need to be made? The bullying section of the book? Classic. Now we just need Sam Jackson to read it. (via motherjones.tumblr.com)
The characters are three-dimensional and deeply flawed. I've never seen a more startlingly real depiction of human kind. Or bear kind for that matter. You can buy it here. (via amazon.com)
Time for another book recommendation! This one's great for any young children or acid casualties in your life. Protip: If you're first learning about the dangers of drugs from a talking horse, it may already be too late.
Time for another book recommendation! My well-worn copy of A Girl's Best Friend, by John Kellerman, has seen me through some tough times - but it never fails to teach me something new each time I read it! The story of a girl and her faithful canine companion, A Girl's Best Friend is a heartwarming tale of loyalty, love, and a lifelong friendship.
I'm afraid this is another shameless plug for a book that I'm really into. But it's well worth checking out. A thoughtful guide to the history, application, and ethical implications of birth control, this is a must-read for any couple who want to take their relationship to the next level. You'll quickly get used to the all-caps and excitable prose as you become more engrossed in the subject. [Read some reviews.]
I was just thinking about this book because my copy finally got too old and careworn to read properly. Isn't it funny how that happens with those novels that you read over and over again? Anyway, I'm ordering a new copy and thought I would share that with y'all in case you're in the mood for a good read.
