Dan Meth (with help from Jeff Rubin ) noticed that 90% of the Beach Boys song catalog was comprised of a mixture of three different topics: cars, girls & surfing. Does that mean the 'Surfer Girl' is the most epic Beach Boys song? This pretty much proves it.

The post-convention bounce gives McCain a 10 point lead according to one poll but the actual data tells a more complicated story. Recent polls show a huge spread of almost 20% with Obama ahead in some and McCain ahead in others. This image from Pollster.com shows a nice graph of polls over time and two trend lines. The blue and red trend lines show Obama slightly ahead but his lead has decreased since July.
