A flash mob creating poetry using the first letter of their names on the streets of Dublin. A little creative get together with the help of Ze Frank. My favorite poem is “a large dead meme”. [Editor’s Note: Spontaneous Human Street Poetry - organized by BuzzFeed and Ze Frank as part of the Infectious Festival in Dublin last month. The music is the actual soundtrack to Ireland. That’s what it sounds like in Dublin all the time.]

The INFECTIOUS contest is an experiment in viral media by an Irish arts organization, and it’s open to everyone! The rules are simple: Make something viral. The post with the most views by July 17 wins. Enter a quiz, a video, a top list, an image, or an interactive project through the contest page and try to make it spread. Right now the leading entry is a fake, possibly racist penis-size chart, so there’s plenty of room at the top for creative stuff! Check the links below for a few inspiring examples of viral successes on BuzzFeed, and enter your own!
Starting on Saturday, attendees of the INFECTIOUS Festival in Dublin will be working to produce original interactive and viral media projects with the goal of reaching 1 million page views by the end of the month. Stay tuned to this page for updates on these projects as they go live.
