TV Buzz Who needs the accusedly racist, overly-excited, diabetes-filled version when we have Kristen Wiig?
TV Buzz She really nailed her Ellen Degeneres and Renee Zellweger. Also in her catalog: her Mom (while driving and puking at the same time) and the weirdo who sat by her on a plane who slurped pudding from the packet.
TV Buzz “Do these look like the eyes of a 'Crazy Man' to you?” Fallon showed off yet another dead-on celebrity impersonation last night when he portrayed Russell Brand perusing the latest US Weekly magazine — whose headline happens to currently read, “Katy Perry: Married To A Crazy Man!”
Impressionist extraordinaire Jim Meskimen tells the classic Christmas story as only he could. Though I suppose an assembly of celebrities could tell it similarly. My favorites are either his Woody Allen or his Liam Neeson.
Movie Buzz His Annakin Skywalker is pretty spot on. I have to admit I'm impressed. Get it? See what I did there? (via slashfilm.com)
Movie Buzz Something tells me this guy's gonna buy the Blu-ray, with or without the Chuck Norris cameo.
Politics Buzz The Daily Show looks the new debt crisis congressional “supercommittee” and the “amazing powers” they posses. At least find out how Sen. John “The Trickler” Kyl got his superhero name. (via thedailyshow.com)
Jim Meskimen does everyone from Morgan Freeman to Droopy Dog to George Clooney and so many more. My only criticism is the name of his show… Jimpressions? Really? You can do better than that. (via reddit.com)
TV Buzz A good-bye tribute to prime-time television's most dreadful impressionist. (via Vulture)
It's pretty good, Michael, but not nearly as good as Steve Coogan or Rob Brydon. Your Dudley Moore is top notch, however.
Jon Hamm does a fantastic Robin Williams impression, because he's perfect, as you know. Anyway, these are all great! Watch them now, before they're pulled from YouTube.
It's not as good as Seth Meyers' Will Forte impression, but there are still some valuable lessons and pick-up lines to be learned. (Embedding disabled, please click through. Sorry! Blame America's Network.)
Sure, every celebrity has taken a stab about the much-loved Christopher Walken impression, but now with the wonders of YouTube it's a practical free for all! See more of the best (or worst?) at Urlesque.
Melanie Hutsell, SNL's top player for a brief period in 1993 (remember her Jan “Marcia, Marcia, Marcia!” Brady?) has reappeared with an impressive impersonation of butter enthusiast Paula Deen. And, just for the record, we'd like to adopt Paula as our nana. (And we'd take Melanie as the weird aunt, too, just so she doesn't feel left out.)
Celebrity Buzz George Clooney is in Chad doing good things for people, and he made this video about the bathroom. It also includes an Andy Rooney impression!
Celebrity Buzz SNL have announced that they're replacing Fred Armisen with a new (and hopefully better) Obama impersonator. But is there anyone who's really got the impression down yet? Here's a collection of Obama impersonation attempts. Judge for yourself who's best, and add your own if you can think of someone better.
