Relief may be on the way for terminally ill cancer patients struggling with anxiety. A new study claims that patients who took a small dose of psilocybin — the active ingredient in “magic mushrooms”— felt less anxious 1-3 months after consuming the hallucinogen. After years of lectures from teachers and parents, who would have thought that this psychedelic drug would be now used medically as a mood enhancer. Never say never.

To be fair, you have to drink a LOT of it: a new study suggests that people who drink more than seven cups of coffee a day may see things that aren't there, hear voices, or sense the presence of dead people. But at least they are not tired!
