Somebody whipped up an 8-bit version of Guitar Hero that fittingly debuts with Guns N' Roses and Michael Jackson songs. It runs in an NES emulator and it's called D-Bag Hero, or something.

MUSIC BUZZ: Their new single, “G.L.O.W.,” will be premiered exclusively on Guitar Hero World Tour , marking the first time the game has previewed a new release before it’s made available anywhere else. The two principal companies involved are MTV and Activision, respective makers of the video games Rock Band and Guitar Hero. The agreement would mark a major milestone given the group’s reluctance to exploit their music commercially. People get old, ideological fervor fades…and, hey, it really wouldn’t be that bad if we could all rock out to “Octopus’s Garden” now would it?
