It’s the largest number of prisoners transferred from the Cuba prison since 2009, according to The New York Times.
The man, Muhammad Murdi Issa al-Zahrani, has spent 12 year at the U.S. prison at Guantanamo Bay. He was sent back to Saudi Arabia for rehabilitation after a review board cleared his case last month.
The detainees have been transferred to Slovakia and Georgia as part of President Barack Obama’s continuing efforts to close down the camp.
“We’re not here to say it should be repealed today,” an administration official says.

Gitmo prisoner Samir Naji al Hasan Moqbel sheds light on the prison’s hunger strike.
“We intend to create an atmosphere of fun, and the spirit and theme were never intended to cause offense or harm,” Flaunt Magazine says.
“Progress has been made under this and the previous administration, but given the legislation that Congress has put in place it’s going to take some time to full close the facility,” spokesman says.
