This isn't the first strange thing ever captured by Google Maps' Street View, but it might be the most other-worldly. On a street in Brooklyn, near the southern end of Carroll Gardens, is the gateway to the next world.

Google’s Streetview service captures another little slice of humanity. This image comes to us from the depths of northern Australia, which means the guy in the picture probably didn’t just visit these ladies, though he’s now bound to them in internet shame.
Culture Buzz People are snapped sunbathing, exiting strip clubs and jaywalking on the new Google Maps Street View feature. Google sent out a van outfitted with a battery of 360-degree cameras to capture street level images, and all sorts of human behavior was picked up as a result. The cat lady, for one, is very unhappy.
