Science Buzz Here's a list of animals who like to have gay sex. If you didn't already know, homosexual behavior is a nearly universal phenomenon in the animal kingdom.
Science Buzz In honour of the new gay swan couple at the world's only swannery, a quick look at the more “alternatively lifestyled” species of the animal kingdom. From gay gray whale orgies to monogamous lesbian snow monkeys, the animal kingdom is rife with homosexual antics. Kinda blows the “against nature” argument out of the water.

Two gay male penguins have hatched a chick and are now rearing it as its adoptive parents, says a German zoo.
Science Buzz Poland is awash in zoo-related controversy because of Ninio, a very expensive 10-year-old elephant who is not inclined to mate with his lady peers. This is now a source of outrage. Poland: on the frontlines of sociopolitical revolution since 1939.
Science Buzz The last living female Blue Duck in the UK will not be mating with either of the two remaining males of the species (named Ben and Jerry), because the dudes much prefer each other's company. The cute part is that although the drakes were completely uninterested in the lady duck, they've become inseparable companions since being introduced to each other. It's slightly sad that this will ultimately mean the end of Blue Ducks in the UK, but it's better that the last ducks be happy together instead of being forced into some loveless marriage. Thanks to John for the tip.
Science Buzz A Swedish museum is putting up an exhibit called “Rainbow Animals” that features the homos within the animal kingdom. The exhibit doesn't, however, include those monkeys who are so often caught trashed at bars, offering to kiss other straight monkeys just to get attention. Stop playing, monkeys.
