Animals Buzz I'm pretty sure I am against this. Frogs should know their place - which is hopping around and lily pads or what-have-you. Once they start sitting on benches and apparently waiting patiently for the frog bus or whatever, the next thing you know, they will be taking our jobs. (via sayomg.com)

The father frog of this endangered species essentially gulps up all the tadpoles once they hatch and keeps them in his mouth until they grow into tiny frogs. I'll just tell myself that that's what my goldfish was trying to do when it ate all its babies. (Via)

At 10-12 mm long, Microhyla nepenthicola may be micro, but its croak is loud. That's how researchers found them, swimming in tiny puddles of water captured by pitcher plants. Click through the image below for more pictures.
