Here's a fun way to kill ten minutes: An intriguing Flash pianola, with a few songs preloaded. Yes, the labels on the side are in German, but figuring out the controls isn't hard. I like to keep it playing on random in the background as I work, it's a nice kind of white noise.

A surprisingly interesting and watchable museum of Flash preloaders? What's that? You're not a web designer and you don't know what a Flash preloader is? If you spend much time online, you actually do: It's that usually irritating “Loading” message you're hit with when you visit a particularly large Flash site. This site has collected a bunch of preloaders which are worth seeing in and of themselves. Trust me, it's more interesting than it sounds.
