Culture Buzz I don’t ever recall Chris Evans decapitating a nazi w his shield in the movie version. Why can’t Hollywood take more cues from Lego-inspired fan films?
Movie Buzz Now witness the firepower of this fully operational fan film.
Culture Buzz Everything about this fan film is totally believable. Except, if she got fired, why'd they let her keep the proton pack?
When I first spotted this, I assumed it was the real deal. Vimeo artist James Curran should send this to Spielberg. It's simple, effective, and captures the heart of the original so well!
Culture Buzz This film was created for the love of filmmaking and obviously for the love of Star Wars. The Plot? Set approximately one year before the Battle of Yavin (i.e. the end of “A New Hope”) on a small planet in the Outer Rim, a young boy watches the Jedi who saved his people be killed by the very clones who once fought by his side. Years later, as a member of a small insurgency against the Empire, he and his team hatch a new plan to take back their planet by drawing the attention of the newly formed Rebel Alliance.

Bow down and give thanks to the gods (or better yet, to Peter Muehlenberg who directed the film) for giving us the first live-action episode of Axe Cop. This is the best thing that could ever happen!!!
What the fans are waiting for. If only it were a feature-length film.
