Scientists in Stuttgart have developed a technique for manufacturing human skin. Using robots to maintain a sterile growing environment, the scientists hope to produce tissue, cartilage, and even entire organs to transplant in humans. They claim the skin is being manufactured to treat injuries and medical conditions, but I'm pretty sure it's a front for a Cylon building factory. Here is your latest edible science project: making mini ice creams out of creamer cups. I'm going to try this as soon as I can get my hands on some half-and-half; stay tuned.
