Democrats have put the tough Senate primary behind them, a new PPP poll finds. Ed Markey’s up seven over Gabriel Gomez, according to the poll sponsored by the League of Conservation Voters.
The Massachusetts Congressman won the Democratic primary for Senate tonight. Markey, who has been in Congress since 1976 has seen a lot come and go in his time there. He’d be one of the longest serving members of the House to ever win a Senate seat.
“It was perfect,” said one. “Historic,” another said.
Fox 25 in Boston is saying that Democratic Senate frontrunner Congressman Ed Markey is a “run away,” ducking from interviews and a debate on the network while the other candidates have agreed. A classic case of local news trolling.
