Here’s a picture of some lady in a wedding dress running away from the courthouse in lower Manhattan during the earthquake. I can’t really blame her, that has to be a sign.

In the aftermath of today’s East Coast Earthquake, Fox News reported that the Washington Monument might be damaged and tilting. Leaning to the left, no doubt. However, a National Park Service spokesperson was quick to respond there was “absolutely no damage” done to any monument on the National Mall. Click for the full story.

An earthquake stretching from South Carolina to Toronto struck the East Coast just minutes ago. The epicenter appears to have been near Washington D.C. in Virginia. Initial reports from the United States Geological Survey say it was a 5.9 magnitude. We felt it in our office in New York. Pretty freaky. More as it develops.

The bunny, born without ears, might be evidence of radioactive contamination in Japan. Some fear the mutant bunny is a result of the nuclear disaster following the massive March earthquake and tsunami. Unless, of course, it’s just a random birth defect. Every credible scientist in the world is leaning strongly toward the latter.

Government officials have started handing out iodine pills to combat the radiation. Around 3am local time, officials began testing residents living near the Fukushima nuclear plant for radiation poisoning. At least 3 of the 90 randomly selected people tested positive. Residents are being told to stay inside, not drink tap water and keep wet cloths over their faces as radiation levels were still well above safe limits.
