For those of you who ran out and saw The Social Network this weekend, you are now familiar with Zuckerberg’s first site www.facemash.com. For only $8,000 it can now be yours. Surprisingly, it currently has zero bids. The question is: Who will be the first BuzzFeed user to place a bid?
On its opening weekend, the film managed to pull in $23 million and received many positive reviews, with a 97% on Rotten Tomatoes. The whole Facebook crew went to see the film as well, even though Zuckerberg himself was noticeably absent.
Dustin Moskovitz is a cofounder of Facebook who served as Vice President in charge of the technical staff until 2008. He has since raised a $9 million series A round of funding from investors (including Peter Thiel and Sean Parker) for his startup Asana, which will create “collaborative task and project management software.” Read More ›
