Nerds rejoice. Allie Goertz is a talented girl and this is just further evidence of that. Goertz wrote the music, but the lyrics are by Patton Oswalt. (via kotaku.com)
In possibly one of the nerdiest graphics ever created, here are the main characters of Mad Men, aligned to the ethical and moral scales of Dungeons & Dragons.
Celebrity Buzz Hey, nerds! What is your favorite thing to watch Sasha Grey and other famous porn stars doing? Me too! And now you can! Here are the first three episodes of I Hit It With My Axe, a reality show in which porn stars play Dungeons & Dragons together. Really nice to see them doing something constructive for a change. BoingBoing points us to the coolest Dungeon Master lair ever. “Coolest” being a relative term here, folks.
This is all part of the Dungeons & Dragons aggressive new guerrilla marketing campaign. D&D isn't just for the weird nerds in the library at lunch anymore.

Jones is back again with their wackily-themed flavors, this time striking into the heard of nerdom with their “Limited Edition Spellcasting Soda!” I could really use a “Potion of Healing” right about now. Via Twitter.

Original Dungeons and Dragons commercial. Feat. Jamie Gertz and Alan Ruck!!! Thanks @wilw.
Politics Buzz A McCain campaign spokesman randomly dissed Dungeons & Dragons players in defense of McCain’s memory of war. Naturally, RPG players aren’t happy, so Wired’s begun collecting some hilarious McCain inspired D&D creatures, naming him anything from McKain the Necrotician to a 1st Level Fighter, 14th Level Aristocrat.
Culture Buzz Gary Gygax, inventor of Dungeons and Dragons, has died. Gary, we hardly knew ye. No, really, we had no idea who you were until you died. Nerds everywhere are mourning the loss and wistfully reminiscing over the precious hours they spent in D&D fantasyland instead of actually having to connect with real people.
