Thirty-two-year-old Georges Exantus thought he’d never dance professionally again after the earthquake in Haiti three years ago took his leg. But thanks to a prosthetic leg, he’s back doing what he loves, whether it be the salsa, cha-cha, or samba.

These images are stunning. Authorities are still trying to figure out the cause of a massive pileup on Florida’s Interstate 75 highway early Sunday that left at least 10 people dead and 18 more injured. These photos of the post-crash carnage—which look like they’re straight out of a disaster movie—put the enormity of the tragedy into perspective. (h/t Fark)

This promo for marketing agency SapientNitro is making the rounds today, but not in a good way. I guess the point is that if you are a marketing agency, you should probably know better? Idea engineer! Plus (obligatory) rapping. Enjoy.

If you turn on the news and hear that some city is being devastated by its fourth flood in 20 years, or that a village at the foot of some volcano has just been buried under lava, there is a 100 percent chance that someone in the room will ask, Why don’t those people just move? It’s a good question, and the answer gives us a nice insight into mankind’s absolute refusal to back down from nature, even if it means certain destruction, particularly in these five major cities.

An Australian man has today been the victim of a devastating “snack attack.” He opened a pack of Cheese Rings to discover just one lonely ring inside. Best quote from the article: “Mr. Jackson was philosophical, saying the day before he had gone to KFC to get a five-piece wing pack, only to find six pieces inside.”

The car was parked, too, which means these people are just really unlucky. AND the entire incident was observed by the private detective the woman’s husband had hired to find out if she was cheating on him. (She was.)

A stunt driver lost control of his Ferrari last night while filming Nicolas Cage’s new movie The Sorcerer’s Apprentice, crashing into a Sbarro in Times Square. Two people were injured, although that doesn’t speak for the Sbarro’s employees already convinced they’re cursed for working at Sbarro’s.

Says the indicted gov: “Dec. 9 to my family, to us, to me, is what Pearl Harbor Day was to the United States…It was a complete surprise, completely unexpected. And just like the United States prevailed in that, we’ll prevail in this.” At least he didn’t say 9/11.
