Statistical randomness? File this under stuff nobody likes.

After beating Russian world champion Boris Spassky in a highly publicized match in 1972, Fischer's fortunes went downhill. He became paranoid, anti-Semitic, eventually renounced his U.S. citizenship in protest and moved to Reykjavik.
