Culture Buzz How has no one noticed this in almost 500 years?!?! Artist Ron Piccirillo discovered a whole series of hidden messages from Leonardo da Vinci in the Mona Lisa simply by looking at it from an extreme angle. The most startling of these Renaissance Easter Eggs being three animal heads in the background.
Politics Buzz Well, that didn't take long. All of the purported inconsistencies and mysterious anomalies with President Obama's long form birth certificate. And this is only within the first few hours of the document's release. Give the Birthers a few days to come up with some really juicy stuff. Between this and the conspiracy theories about Osama bin Laden's death, they're going to be very busy.
Science Buzz Ready your fallout shelters! No but for serious, the scientists at CERN fired together some proton beams at 99% of the speed of light, and everyone is very pleased about the New Era of Physics that is upon us.

Culture Buzz Dan Brown's follow-up to The Da Vinci Code has finally been announced. It will feature our old friend, the affable Harvard symbologist Robert Langdon, and it is to be called The Lost Symbol. Rumor has it that it's about a mysterious cult that's super into obscure symbols. As with Brown's other books, The Lost Symbol was collaboratively written by a Freshman ESL class and edited by a semi-literate conspiracy nut with a talent for Wikipedia-based research. It's currently available for preorder on Amazon.

It's not the first time a film has angered the church, the ladies, or the entire world. Here's a top 10.
