For a show that regularly tackles thorny issues like teen pregnancy and alcohol abuse, it’s surprising that a million dollars worth of lawbreaking would go unmentioned. But it does, and week after week, those zany Glee kids rack up the potential to pay higher and higher fines.

    Artist Nadia Plesneris being sued by Louis Vuitton for depicting a LV-inspired bag in an image sold to raise money for a Darfur Charity. The image depicting a Darfur victim carrying a designer handbag and a Paris Hilton-style dog was meant to draw attention to the media’s disproportionate focus on celebrities. The Paris based company is demanding over $20,000 for each day that Plesener continues her project, presumably because they do not appreciate having their brand equated with genocide, a move that seems to have backfired.
