POLITICS BUZZ: Canadian women have come up with a campaign to exploit the Myanmar junta’s superstitious belief that coming into contact with women’s underwear will rob them of their strength. CULTURE BUZZ: A new charity lets you “adopt a clitoris” and help a woman who was genitally mutilated pay for surgery to have her clitoris rebuilt. It sounds totally absurd but it’s for a good cause! If you read Alice Walker in middle school like we did, the atrocities of genital mutilation should be an issue particular dear to your hearts, too.
