Ingmar Guandique was found guilty this morning in the murder of Washington intern Chandra Levy. Levy was killed in DC’s Rock Creek Park in 2001, though her body was not found until a year later. The case was a media sensation due to a connection between Levy and Congressman Gary Condit, who was temporarily a suspect in the crime.

Ingmar Guandique, 27, a Salvadorian immigrant has been named by authorities in the 2002 murder of Chandra Levy. Levy, 24, an intern for House Representative Gary Condit, who had a intimate relationship with Levy, but denied any part in her murder. The case saw Condit lose his congressional seat and enter the private sector.
