If there’s one thing we know about kids’ movies, it’s that some of them can get pretty terrifying. And if there’s one thing we know about foreign movies, it’s that all of them are confusing and bizarre. Now combine those two things.

Some shows were better at guessing the future than others. The Sony Walkman is going to make a comeback any minute though, right?

A quick look at Lauren Faust’s “Super Best Friends Forever on DC Nations” Cartoon Network block. I’m really digging Wonder Girl’s accent.

You don’t even have to wait until the show returns to its regular time slot to get your “Community” fix: starting Wednesday, three animated shorts voiced by the cast will hit the web.

Bam! Pow! The 1960s would’ve been more awesome with full length superhero movies.

Thank goodness for Saturday Morning Cartoons. Otherwise, I would have never turned on my TV and discovered that Jessica Walter voiced a character on “The Magic School Bus” back in the early 90s.

The 19th century British monarch was quite a talented doodler. Here are sketches by Queen Victoria, only recently released to the public, of Her Royal Highness’ family.

Splitsider calls our attention to this never-before-seen clip that was created to run on an episode of “Saturday Night Live” in 1998. It’s an episode of “TV Funhouse,” the popular Robert Smigel cartoon, that happens to crap all over the likes of Fox, ABC, Time Warner, CBS, and — uh oh — General Electric through a song called “Media-opoly.” No wonder it never saw the light of day.

Christoph Niemann, a cartoonist from the New York Times (remember this), live-drew and tweeted his entire NYC marathon run. This is honestly one of the coolest/most impressive things I’ve ever seen. What did you do today?

Cartoons, like certain sodas, are often marketed to a specific gender. But plenty of girls watched Transformers, and Andre of Black Nerd Comedy informs us that likewise, plenty of boys watched these 5 shows.

Granted, with the addition of South Sudan, this is no longer accurate. Did anyone else notice that they listed Palestine as a nation? [Ed. note- For those of you now back in school, this may come in handy. This is how us old people learned our countries.]
