After much discontent, both Republican and Democratic voters showed their pragmatism on Super Primary Tuesday. Blanche Lincoln wins a runoff and Meg Whitman and Carly Fiorina come out on top in California.
Meg Whitman, former eBay chief executive, won the primary elections for California governor and will challenge Jerry Brown who has been governor for two terms. Carly Fiorina, former Hewlett-Packard CEO also won in the race for a U.S. Senate seat and will have to face Sen. Barbara Boxer.
