According to our LinkedIn profiles, “a great many of us tend to describe ourselves as motivated team players with extensive experience”. LinkedIn has the data and this top10 list is not surprisingly right on target. Just surprised not to see “creative” in the list
If you walk into an interview and read this list as a sentence without any grammar or punctuation, you're guaranteed a job. Fact. Tech Buzz Nerve ranked the “buzziest” blog posts ever, proving that the inner reaches of Internet clusterf*ckery can find their way into the real world, including Jimmy Kimmel. As Rex Sorgatz says, it’s linkbait. But it’s still rad.
Movie Buzz It’s like ‘jump the shark,’ only for movies. The scene in the new Indiana Jones film in which Indy survives a nuclear blast by crawling into a lead-lined fridge is so ridiculous it’s spawned a new phrase for describing when a series of movies has stretched our disbelief past the breaking point. For example, the Star Wars series nuked the fridge with the introduction of Jar Jar Binks.
The word “trollop” is back! It is what old man McCain calls his first lady and now all the kids are starting to use it, too! Trollop, trollop, trollop! It is fun to say. And it also is a helpful reminder that John McCain is 1) older than you could possibly imagine, 2) can’t control his temper, and 3) has serious issues with women. Punch it in!
Culture Buzz New word for your vocabulary! It stands for “Mother I’d Really Rather not F*ck.” Well, so far there’s only one blog post, but I’m hoping it’ll catch on. Also, shouldn’t it be MIRRNF?
