Culture Buzz Buckminster Fuller was an American visionary who dedicated his life to improving the conditions of human life by uniting the humanities and the sciences. Fuller was a strong believer in interrelatedness and ephemeralization, or the idea of doing more with less. Many questions Fuller raised remain both prominent and pertinent years after his death. An upcoming retrospective at the Whitney Museum titled “Buckminster Fuller: Starting with the Universe” explores Fuller’s cultural relevance.
