Animals Buzz On “Britain's Got Talent,” Ashleigh and her dog Pudsey put on a “Mission Impossible” themed show that got even Simon Cowell smiling. Pudsey for president.
TV Buzz You wont believe the sound coming out of this young man. [Ed. note: Not to give away the game here, but this is the latest in a “awkward ugly duckling with a good voice 'surprises' the shit out of Simon Cowell” scenario that has really been working out for them since Paul Potts actually did surprise us all in 2007. Somehow it still totally works.]
TV Buzz Does the singing cat lady, Susan Boyle, have competition? Another Britain's Got Talent hopeful, 12-year old Shaheen Jafargholi, belted the Jackson Five's “Who's Loving You” and received a standing ovation from not only the crowd, but all of the judges (including tight-lipped Simon Cowell.) So basically, if you're an old lady or a child with a surprising singing voice, Britain thinks you've got talent. But seriously, Shaheen, watch out for Michael Jackson.
This is Susan Boyle, a 47-year-old woman who knocked the ball out of the g-ddamn park with her performance on “Britain's Got Talent.” You were maybe hoping for a funny, mock-the-cat-lady sort of video, but instead we are serving you some triumph of the human spirit.
