In Russia, Beer Is Food
Literally. At least until today, when President Dmitry Medvedev signed a bill into law classifying beer as alcoholic. Apparently, until now anything with less than 10% alcohol was considered a foodstuff, and people would be seen ‘swigging beer in the street and in parks as if they are drinking soft drinks.’ Russia, doing it right.
