A UN report detailing the regime’s atrocities also included a letter to Kim Jong-un saying he could face trial for “crimes against humanity.”
Students organizing an Occupy Cal demonstration yesterday were met by police in full riot gear, eager to use their billy clubs. The police only retreated after the crowd began shouting “STOP BEATING STUDENTS.”
Erika Mae Butts and Shanita Latrice Cunningham, both 25, were found guilty of beating a 3-year-old girl to death while in their care. 62-year-old Althea Ricketts was charged with aggravated child abuse after she beat her son for having a Facebook page. Her son (whose name and age was not released) was beaten with a computer cable, police said.
