Two superheroes were entertaining tourists in Times Square this morning when they were approached by police asking for their licenses. Needless to say, the police messed with the wrong superheroes and the whole thing ended in a street brawl. MOVIE BUZZ: A town in southeast Turkey plans to sue Warner Brothers and The Dark Knight director Christopher Nolan for unauthorized use of the name Batman. I get that they just want some publicity, but wouldn't it have been more efficient to set up an online souvenir shop? I can't be the only person who would order a “Batman, Turkey” messenger bag.

Compared to the abilities of flight, super-strength and heat vision, there is something kind of sad about Batman’s gadgetry. Sure, Superman comes off as kind of lame, but at least he’s not a pathetic, mask-wearing growler like Batman.
