Colorado Rockies rookie Juan Nicasio took a line drive to the side of the head when pitching against the Washington Nationals on Friday night. That resulted in a broken neck, for which he underwent surgery on Saturday. Scary stuff.

Man Dies After Falling At Baseball Game

This is entirely too sad. Fireman Shannon Stone was attempting to catch a ball at a Texas Rangers game when he lost his balance and fell over the railing. As his young son looked on, he dropped nearly 20 feet to the pavement below. Stone appeared to be fine as he was taken out of the park by paramedics, but died suddenly in the ambulance on the way to the hospital. Although he did not pass away on camera, some may find this video disturbing.
