FOOD BUZZ: A SF winery is offering a cabernet that gets cheaper as the stock market sinks. You preorder the wine for $39, and the winery records the Dow Jones average on the date of your order. For every 100 points the Dow drops, you're credited $2, until the wine is bottled on August 14. This is probably a terrible deal mathematically, but you can yell “BAILOUT WINE!” a lot at parties, which sounds fun.

Didn't agree with the bailout? Thought you could've done a better job? We'll see about that. Hit up this amazingly well-designed (and entertaining) game, which is inspired by Monopoly, but you get to choose who gets bailed out and who gets the ax. Watch out for the recession (ie angry mob in red pickup truck!)

The Italian government had to buy 100,000 wheels of Parmigiano Reggiano in hopes of rescuing the beloved cheese. The Buffalo mozzerella makers are a little pissed, noting that they have “never received a dime of state aid.” Cheese war!
