Atheists on reddit get a taste of their own medicine. Every popular thing faces it's inevitable backlash.
After it was revealed that Nokia provided the Iranian government with surveillance assistance during the post-election crackdown, Iranians are rightfully upset. One created this ad for a “new Nokia product, produced with the cooperation of the Islamic Republic of Iran” that is “capable of identifying, torturing and killing Iranian youth.”
Culture Buzz Via his Twitter, John Hodgman (yes, that “PC guy”) takes a stand against “meh” — calling it “…almost universally seems to signal: I am just interested enough to make one last joyless, nitpicky swipe and then disappear.” An official “meh” backlash? Is “meh” the new FAIL? How many joyless Twitterers do we think responded: “@hodgman meh”?

The rom-com about unlucky ladies and gentlemen in love (imagine that!) is looming on the horizon, and apparently the marginal characters - or “three gays and a Black guy” - prove to be almost as insulting as the fact that He's Just Not That Into You was made into a movie. To be fair, we should've seen coming in the trailer when Drew Barrymore's flock of geighz insist that “MySpace is the new booty call.” Ugh, nobody says that, gay or straight.

Has the backlash already begun? This single-serving site apparently thought Obama would not only get it laid but do a number of other things, as well. Dude, just wait til the inauguration!
Tech Buzz We're glad to see we're not alone in thinking that the new ad campaign from Ask.com are 100% creeptastic. Sure, they get the job done when it comes to grabbing our attention, but that's only because they leave us with nervous tremors.
Movie Buzz He’s getting his big chance to become the new John Cusak with Nick and Norah’s Infinite Playlist opening this weekend, but the internets are rumbling that he’s always playing the same character, and it’s getting old. Whatever, haters. More awkward-adorableness for the rest of us.
Culture Buzz Spore fans are not happy with the game’s anti-piracy DRM, so they’ve taken their protest to Amazon. Right now, over 1,367 of 1,463 total ratings are just one star, giving the highly anticipated game’s launch an Amazonian black eye.
TV Buzz The results are in, and it looks like 90210 was a hefty disappointment, as echoed throughout the blogosphere. Not surprising: the fact that Jessica Walters - who so brilliantly played an old, rich drunk lady onArrested Development - is being showered with raves for her portrayal of …another old, rich drunk lady. (Hey, some people were just born for the part.)
