He also acknowledges his scandals haven’t helped her professionally. “I feel that what I have done has hurt her,” says Weiner.
“You can do this or show videos of cats, whatever it is you do at BuzzFeed,” Weiner said Monday in response to a question about his relationship with his former roommate Daily Show host Jon Stewart.
“I said to Mike Bloomberg: The first thing I was gonna do as mayor was hold a press conference tearing out your — this is the internet, right? — tearing out your fucking bike lanes,” Weiner said. “It was a joke,” he added.
The embattled former congressman and mayoral hopeful said the controversial stop-and-frisk policy — which was ruled unconstitutional today — “does appear to be racial in nature” based upon the race of the people stopped.
