Culture Buzz Looks about right. This fellow was arrested in Michigan for animal cruelty. Authorities seized about 350 dogs from his home. He looks just as disturbing as his actions.
A terrified tomcat roamed the streets for several days with an arrow pierced through his torso. A Houston veterinary clinic helped with Cupid’s surgery and Purr Paws rescue will be put Cupid up for adoption once he fully recovers.

Culture Buzz Rabbis in Jerusalem (who apparently have their own justice system!) ruled that the spirit of secular lawyer who insulted judges 20 years ago has transferred into wandering dog's body so they sentenced the poor tramp to death by stoning. A bull fought back in Spain Wednesday when he gored a Matador in the chest during a bullfight. Israel Lancho is currently in serious condition after undergoing surgery for a 20cms hole, and we're assuming the bull was put down shortly thereafter. Vengeance?

Culture Buzz Over 40 rabbits have been have been mysteriously murdered since last summer in the Ruhr district of Germany . The animals which were brutally beheaded and drained of blood were mostly being kept out of sight suggesting that the killers maybe using Google Earth to track them down. Whether internet savvy Satanists are the culprits or just sadistic teenagers Germans are being warned to keep their pets locked away.
Politics Buzz In July of 2007, six gorillas were murdered, execution-style, in the Virunga National Park in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Brent Stirton, the photojournalist who shot the intensely disturbing photographs of the slain gorillas, returned to the Congo with writer Mark Jenkins to determine the why this atrocity happened. The story complete with brutal militias, environmental disasters, corruption, smuggling, and the aftermath of the Rwandan genocide is covered in the July issue of National Geographic. and a documentary on the subject will air July 1st.
