Why is a raven like a writing desk? Only through the effort of dedicated (lonely) fans do we now have this and other pop culture answers.
Culture Buzz Dennis Ziliotto is a photographer based in north Italy. His eccentric artwork is as crazy as it is fun.
Culture Buzz We're all mad here. Some people say this might be blurring the line between costume and furry but to you I say, “Poppycock and good day, sir!”
If you like Alice in Wonderland, anime, or musicals, you'll find it difficult to resist smiling at this Vocaloid video masterminded by The Oster Project. (via crunchyroll)
This video is frabulously fantastically dark. Now this is a Wonderland movie I would watch.

Charming and slightly creepy at the same time. Of course it's in Japan.
Movie Buzz Am I turned on or disturbed? Wait, haven't we been here before? (Link NSFW) J. Scott Campbell returns to make us all uncomfortably attracted to ink and paint.
Celebrity Buzz A new book by Phil Edwards and John Tenniel that totally improves upon Lewis Carroll's classic by inserting the cast from Jersey Shore. Through the Snooking Glass.
Culture Buzz Happy Mad Hatter Day! In the spirit of this silly holiday, here are some hats you probably can get away wearing only on Halloween (which is fast approaching) or on Mad Hatter Day.
Culture Buzz Excerpts from Lewis Carrol's original manuscript for Alice in Wonderland. He did a really nice job on this one. (Via.)

When Wonderland is threatened by a pop-music hating Queen Of Hearts, Lady Gaga returns to her homeland to kick some evil ass… (Via The Daily What.)
Alice In Wonderland fans who love the story enough get some pretty impressive tattoos. Somewhere, Tim Burton is giggling to himself and stroking his beard right now. [Ed Note: And Lewis Carroll is turning in his grave. Click through for a bunch more.]
Celebrity Buzz At last we know how he makes his magic. [Ed Note: Man, I sure hope they use that awesome, haunting Danny Elfman tune for Alice In Wonderland!]

From the British Film Institute Archive comes this first-ever film adaptation of Lewis Carroll’s book.
USA Today has published new images from Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland featuring Johnny Depp as the Mad Hatter, Helena Bonham Carter as the Red Queen, and Anne Hathaway as the White Queen. Also included are three more pieces of concept art for the film.
Best mash-up ever. [Jack's Note: Um, agreed. This has apparently been around for a little while, but I hadn't seen it before, and I love it oh so very much. So please think of this as an encore presentation if you've already watched it.]
Here's a look at Johnny Depp as the Mad Hatter in Tim Burton's “Alice in Wonderland.” Or is it a fake? The internet isn't sure. Either way, I'm concerned for that rabbit.
