Culture Buzz After 18 years in prison for a crime they insist they did not commit, the men known as the West Memphis 3 have finally been released. Damien Echols, Jason Baldwin and Jessie Misskelley, victims of what has widely been condemned as a massive miscarriage of justice, are now free.

WREG-TV in Memphis, TN has learned an agreement has been reached to release at least two of the West Memphis 3. Multiple sources, including the father of one of the victims, have confirmed this will be announced at a special hearing Friday WREG.COM. UPDATE: After 18 years in prison, the West Memphis 3 have finally been released.
