This joke was spotted by passenger @adlinaazhar in Air Asia's in-flight magazine, Travel3Sixty.

Very disappointed with @AirAsia @aireenomar. Distasteful blurb in your in-flight mag.

But after he tweeted a picture of it, it was removed.

Air Asia's executive chairman Kamarudin Meranun claims that the magazine went to print before Malaysia Airlines flight MH370 disappeared.

"This is a truly difficult time for the nation and words cannot describe how I personally feel of this incident," Mr Kamarudin said in a statement.

"It truly saddens me that this article was released at such an inopportune moment."

He also said that disciplinary action has been taken against the magazine's editorial staff.

    H/t the Metro.
