9. We're secretly delighted whenever items get broken during delivery.
10. Nothing in this world makes you feel as single as working a pre-Valentine's Day shift at Thorntons.
11. Because of our 25% staff discount, we're the best people to know at Christmas, Easter, and basically any other big life event.
12. And if you put us in charge of making your birthday cake, we'll just end up buying this one.
13. Doing stock checks is the absolute worst.
14. But hey, at least we can reward ourselves to literal bites of heaven in between carrying heavy boxes from the stock room.
15. Our gift wrapping skills are second to none.
16. We get one buff arm, from ice cream scooping, every summer 💪.
17. And we're always secretly hoping you're going to opt for a cup rather than a cone.
18. And there's always one customer who gets their sticky fingers all over the ice cream counter.
19. It's basically impossible to work behind the individual chocolate counter without sneaking a taste of the odd one.
20. And we always make up stories behind your cryptic messages in our heads.
21. We eat the most chocolate right after Easter.
22. You'd be surprised at how many regular customers come in at the same time every week.
23. You'd think that being surrounded by chocolate all day, every day, makes us hate the stuff. But actually, it has the opposite effect.
