Dear Mr Ramon,

Thank you for coming to our school and teaching us about weather.

Some day when I become supreme Utra-Lord of the universe I will not make you a slave, you will live in my 200 story (sic) castle where unicorn servants will feed you doughnuts off their horns.

I will personally make you a throne that is half platnum (sic) and half solid gold and jewel encrusted.

Thank you again for teaching us about meteoroligy (sic), you’re more awesome than a monkey wearing a tuxedo made out of bacon wearing a cyborg unicorn with a lightsaber for the horn on the tip of a space shuttle closing in on Mars, while ingulfed (sic) in flames… And in case you didn’t know, that’s pretty dang sweet.

Sincerely,
Flint

Dear Nuba,

Hello my name is (sic) and I’m in grade 7 at Hastings Community School. I’m writing this letter to you to recognise your exceptional service. I have had great experiences in your restaurants and I think you should be told about it.

First of all I adore your food so keep it up. I also know I’m not the only one. My whole family is in love with your food, we come at birthdays, special occasions and even if we just want good food.

OK. Enough about the food, let’s talk about the warm environment. I feel so welcome when (sic) step into the restaurant. Even the way it’s set up is great. If I want a great meal I know where to go.

Finally, your service is fantastic! You really can’t find better places with waitresses/waiters that seem like they really care. I love places like that.

So in conclusion, you are a great overall restaurant. I love it there, thanks for being amazing!

Sincerely,
Eryn

Dear Crosia,

We were thrilled to receive your gift and your note. We are doing very well and Lee Seung Yub (our Matthew) is growing fast. He is already 2 years old and we’ve included photos from his birthday party and some from Fathers’ and Mothers’ Day celebrations. He is our darling boy and gives us so much joy.

We were so happy to hear from you as you are part of his past we can never know. We hope to keep in touch and share how he’s growing up.

We’ve included small gifts from all of us. They are 1990 Christmas ornaments. The bird is a partridge sitting in a pear tree, a pleasant song we sing at the holidays.

Please keep us in your thoughts.

Sincerely,
Jon, Jem, Matthew

6. A mother thanks the doctors who saved her son’s vision.

Dear Dr. Reece,

One year ago, June 13, 2009, our one year old son, Jack, tripped on unsteady feet and fell into the corner of his dresser, slicing open the tender skin just above his left eye through the eyebrow. While there are far more traumatic and serious things that can happen to a child, the situation was upsetting to my husband and I (sic).

We ended up at Blank Children’s Hospital ER due to the severity of the injury. Our referring physician said we would want an experiences plastic surgeon to complete the stitches. We were so blessed that you were on call that day. Your expertise, skill and calming disposition were just what we needed.

We want to share with you the amazing healing Jack has experienced in one year’s time. His scar is barely noticeable and his face as adorable as ever!

Thank you for the amazing results you created for Jack, and all of the patients under his care. We are so grateful!

Our best,
Amy and John

God bless you for the beautiful radio I won at your recent senior citizens luncheon.

I am 84 years old and live at the county home for the aged. All my people are gone and it’s nice to know some one (sic) thinks of me.

God bless you for your kindness to an old forgotten lady.

My room mate is 95 and always had her own radio but would never let me listen to it. The other day her radio fell and broke into a lot of pieces. It was awful. She asked if she could listen to mine and I said fuck you.

Sincerely,
Edna Johnston

Dear Amy,

I must write a special letter and thank you for the dream in the bottle. You are the first person in the world who has sent me one of those and it intrigued me very much. I also liked the dream. Tonight I shall go down to the village and blow it through the bedroom winder of some sleeping child and see if it works.

With love from,
Roald Dahl

9. A postman who found a child’s letter about her dog’s death replies on behalf of God.

Dear Meredith,

I know that you will be happy to know that Abbey arrived safe and sound in heaven. Having the picture you sent me was a big help. I recognized Abbey straight away.

Abbey isn’t sick anymore. her spirit is here with me just like it stays in your heart. Abbey loved being your dog. Since we don’t need our bodies in heaven, I don’t have any pockets to keep your picture or your letter in. I am sending them back to you in this little book for you to keep and have something to remember Abbey by.

Thank you for the beautiful letter and thank you mother for helping you write it. What a wonderful mother you have. I picked her especially for you.

I send my blessings every day and remember that I love you very much. By the way, I am easy to find, I am wherever there is love.

Love,
God and the special angel who wrote this letter after God told her the words.
