Your friends just can't understand how you're single.
It's just that the dating scene is about to drive you crazy.
Sure, there are plenty of prospects,
But let's be honest, it's hard out there for a pug.
You just never know what to expect--especially on a first date.
Maybe they're the life of the party,
Or they're funny in a dry, ironic way.
There's also a chance that your date is, um, frightening,
A little too weird,
Or cute, but just not your type.
It's cool, though.
You've just gotta keep on keepin' on,
Because some first dates are awesome!
You can't wait to see them again,
And you even start to think--just maybe!--this could be The One.
But then you're not so sure.
Things start to feel a little one-sided,
Then--BAM! Rejection.
It hurts, pug.
You can stay down in the dumps for a moment,
But you've gotta shake it off,
And get back out there.
When you do that, keep an eye out for the hotties,
Be open and upfront about who you are and what you're looking for,
And just have fun! Be yourself!
Be careful not to drink too much--especially on the first date...
But, sometimes, you're over-served!
So your speech is a little slurred, and you might come off a bit desperate...
And waking up that next morning? Woof.
But you've gotta relax,
Because we've all been there.
The right pug for you will find your faux pas comical and charming.
And if they don't?
As a little fishy would say, "Just keep swimming, just keep swimming!"
You're still in for some surprises,
And it might feel like true love is just out of reach.
But stay the course,
Because your patience and persistence will pay off!
Sometimes love comes along when you aren't expecting it,
And when you kiss, you just KNOW--
You've found that perfect partner in crime.
Then, hooray! It's love and snuggles!
And if things go well, you'll start planning a future together...

It definitely does take some searching,
And yeah, you might encounter a few crazies,
But we're all looking for the same thing.
We all just need some puggy to love.
