So on January 31st, 2014, the fab British/Irish band released its newest music video for their song "Midnight Memories" and it was fantastic.
Here's a quick (or not so quick but rather humorously detailed) recap:
So to start out the boys are at a party, and it's clearly a lame one.
Liam is talking to some weird guy and he's obviously just freakin bored with this loser.
and Zayn's sitting with this dog-- he's clearly so bored he has a cry for help in his beautiful eyes.
and this girl just totally ignores Niall when he's being a total sweetheart and is offering her some food. Does she have eyes? Or a brain?
Oh yeah and Louis is just plain uncomfortable (and gorgeous).
But then Harry comes on down and you know this night is about to get crazy cool.
He checks out the party and is like "ew."
So Niall makes a gesture that basically says "hey we're too cool to be here. let's ditch this place."
They all leave the lame party and Louis leads them to this kebab restaurant.
They're all super excited to be there. Like they clearly love kebabs.
Niall gets so excited that he attacks a wad of meat.
And he makes this face:
Louis finds some chilli sauce and things start to get wild.
So Liam decides to taste the chilli sauce on his food,
and he just can't handle it. It's too spicy for his fragile, beautiful mouth.
Zayn tries to be his helpful, cute self and attempts to put out the fire in Liam's mouth with this fire extinguisher.
But Liam gets over it and they all follow him to the next adventure...
where Niall gets into a cleaning bucket...
and then Liam falls off a wall.
Not too long after, this lady rolls on by.
Harry is clearly into her.
Then you see Louis on a motorcycle
But then you find out it's not a motorcycle...... because all the boys are riding the same scooters as Harry's elderly eye candy from earlier.
Soon they catch up with the old women from earlier and sparks are flyin'.
Louis momentarily reconsiders his relationship with Eleanor when he meets this lovely lady.
Soon you see them walking down a pier or something and they are lookin hot.
And Niall charms a police officer with his beautiful blue eyes and gorgeous blonde hair.
It turns out Niall was just distracting the officer while the other four boys stole his boat.
They're feeling the adrenaline rush-- Niall can't believe what they pulled off!
Liam is excited too-- so excited he gives Niall this big hug (which was adorable by the way).
Then they notice something from far away....
And Harry lets his tongue fly in the wind
Soon you see them each climbing up some stairs....
Niall checks to make sure no one is around to catch them.... breaking some rules maybe?
But then you just see them happily chilling and you figure everything's perfectly normal and fine.
Liam is being super happy following all the rules and certainly not doing anything dangerous.
The camera then randomly shows a shot of this bridge
and then you realize HOLY CRAP WHAT ARE THOSE CRAZY BOYS DOING HELP HELP THEY ARE CRAZY PEOPLE
The boys are standing on the side of the bridge
and this sight terrifies you and makes you explode on the inside. THE END!
