superthom 9 months agoHello. Welcome to every football game ever. It wasn’t a handball. It was clearly accidental and giving a penalty was a mistake by the referee. The stamp should have been a red card and the referee missed it, which is understandable. The referee can’t keep an eye on everything going on during the game. It was foul play by the Canadian but the Canadians aren’t complaining about foul play. They’re complaining about poor refereeing decisions, and in this case they’re right.
