Also if you have flat feet and often suffer from shin splints, I recommend these shoes as well.

I've owned these for more than a year. I don't like wearing shoes ever, but given the hazards of broken glass, burning asphalt, etc, these shoes let me do my thing and keep my feet intact. They might be ugly, but they're comfortable as heck. Don't knock it till you try it.

I just looked at photos of the Marc Jacobs show and realized that many runway models are really not that attractive. They are waaaaaay too thin and they always look unhappy.
