sunrise86 5 months agoHey, as a Holmie myself…I find offense to this article and the others as well. Why all the hate toward us. Some of us, including me, do not condone what he has done but we EMPATHIZE with him. A little humor may be a way for some of these Holmies to come to terms of what a horrific life James Holmes is looking at. We don’t idolize him, but we each see a little bit of James Holmes in all of us. Many of us are educated, have jobs, maybe even kids. We do not encourage violence toward anyone and do not seek to in the future. For some, this is just a phase that we will soon outgrow, but in the meantime, leave us alone! Well you probably won’t leave us alone, but you too will be bored to even cover such fandom as the weeks progress. We Holmies come from all sorts of backgrounds and many have similar interests whether it be reading and studying serial killers to those who want to have a career in the criminal justice field. If you ant to try to psychoanalyze us that is fine, but do not call us crazy. P.S. Lovely choice of photos. :)

“…but we each see a little bit of James Holmes in all of us.” And you wonder why people are so pissed at all of you…? A relatively adjusted human being does not “see a little bit” of a mass fucking murderer in themselves. Empathize with Holmes’s family, sure— God knows they’re suffering— but fuck the piece of shit that wantonly slaughters people for mere giggles.
